John Howell is the founder of Trading and Investing 4u and is a seasoned professional investor/trader with over half a decade of experience in the stocks, options and futures markets.

John Howell was born in Penrith, New South Wales, in 1984. Formal education was not something that sat well with John and by year ten he was asked to leave school after being told he would not pass his exams. He tried jobs in the car industry before finding work as a landscaping labourer.

After a few years, he realised that working a job was not going to get him ahead in life.

After completing a home study program on options trading, he practised fervently and made the decision to embark on a full-time trading career at just 20 years of age. Managing to save up $10,000, he quit his job and started trading. After initial success, John followed the route of many traders and lost his entire $10,000 bank. He returned to landscaping.

Despite his initial failure, John still had a burning desire to achieve success with trading. He spent all his free time practising and started seeing some patterns in the charts that would suit his trading personality and style.

After six months of practise and good paper results, John started trading again. In less than a year, John quit his job and went full time trader.

By now a successful trader in his own right with an extensive professional trading history, he started writing educational materials and consulting to trading institutions who were eager to utilise his knowledge and experience to train their students and staff.

He has worked as a trading moderator in a live trading room environment, calling trades for index futures and options. John has also as been noticed as one of the top traders going around as he was handpicked to feature in the bestselling book

In addition to testing and refining his trading strategies, John is now focused on coaching others on how to prosper in understanding how to trade some of the most amazing share trading strategies.

He has the sincere belief that anyone with the right attitude can make money through trading.

John lives two houses from the beach with his wife, Michelle and three children. In his spare time enjoys playing guitar, listening to and watching motivational programs, working on his fitness, trying to surf and playing recreational sports.
